The old bitch is on the fritz again.

Well after missing the last few days of work because of the flu a coworker passed to me last thursday, I woke up nice and early with plans to get to work before everyone else in order to check my emails and pay some bills but the old XJ choked and sputtered before I tried to drive it down 75. I made it to 121 before I had to turn around for fear of not making it to downtown Dallas this morning. At first I believed the engine was finally kaput after 188000 miles on the odometer but after I got home and had time to look it over I think it may just need some new plugs and cap & rotor. I swear I just changed that stuff out but with a rig this old two years can fly right by. I'll dig into it this Christmas weekend and figure out what she needs. Keep ya posted, if you care. Of course I have my wife convinced that it will need a new Golen Stroker 4.6L engine so maybe I shouldn't change the plugs.
