Alright...you read about my last day of work at the old place.  Well, it's been about two weeks now at the new place and I can't say how freakin cool it is.  I am in the commercial real estate brokerage world now and it has been an amazing journey getting from one side of the field to this side.  Half of what I did prior to this position was just plain boring after seeing what I've seen.  My second day on the job I sat in on a $35 million land play in Chicago area.  How freakin cool!  Anyway...this ride we call life has been way cool.  Stay tuned for more as this ride keeps going...wanted to say thanks to the good lord for providing this opportunity for me and my family.  May god bless you all.

Here's the deal...I have been with the same firm for the past 12 years.  Over those years I have aided in expanding this company from 5 total employess (including the owner) to over 12.  My finger prints are all over this company from the bottom to the top, and you would think that after that many years you would at least get a cocktail party or a lunch of some sort.  What did I get?  Not a darn thing!  Zilch, Zero, Nada!  My last day was 09/14/2007 and all I got from the man I helped build this company was "good luck timmy".  Can you freakin believe it?  Oh well, it's time to move on.  I start my new job with one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world and I am so looking forward to the challenges as well as the opportunities it presents.  I will keep you posted on the progress as things happen.

Here's the deal...this was a great day that allowed me to have met a couple that were trully in love with each other. 

 The day started off meeting up with Kingred, JMaxx, Timb16, Wicked Lizard, JD King, RayRay, Steve and a few others.  We spent all day on the trails and were up front deciding if we were going to hit one more trail before we went home.  While in the parking lot, Jeff (a friend of Jmaxx's) got a call from his wife trying to get directions on where we were at.  As Jeff was talking to his wife Irene, he asked what cross street and that's when we all realized she was not on her way there, but actually had been driving around the creek looking for us.  She had gone down a trail that stopped and then turned into an ATV only trail.  She had gotten herself stuck pretty good.  So as we figure out where she was, we all went on a rescue mission.  We got her unstuck and we went around a couple more trails and then packed it in.  This blog is for Jeff and Irene, rest in peace my friends.  You were good people.
