Workin on 50 but still love to wheel!!
We are a Jeep family...
My wife drives an '02 Liberty with the Rocky Road 2-1/2 lift and 31x10.5 T's.
My oldest son has my old '00 TJ Sport which I've been working on while he's in Iraq (Marines)...3" susp. lift and 33x12.5 MT's. (Hopeing to upgrade to D44's when he gets home next spring).
I have the '03 Rubi which I love to no end. 4" susp. and 2" body lift with 35x12.5 MT's for the trail, and some 33" roadys for the dailey driveing.
We all went in together for our latest toy though...a '46 CJ2a with a great body. We plan to keep the body pretty stock with a full cage but beef up the drive train to modern specs. Should be a lot of fun to hit the trails in this old timer!!
Our middle son has the tow rig, a '99 Dodge p/u but I'll e losing access to that because he and his wife are moving to N.C. next week, (also Marines).
And the youngest boy, just turning 16 next month, who has'nt seen the light yet just bought his first set of wheels...an '86 Mustang. (Perhaps it's just a stage he's going through. :-) |
